Surf and Sound Parade

Join us on Saturday, May 2, 2015, for the Inaugural Virginia Beach Surf & Sound Parade.

Highlights Include:

* Full Parade on Atlantic Avenue.  The parade will include floats and other units in addition to the marching bands. The Virginia Beach Community will be involved as well.

* Trophies and Awards - 1st through 3rd Place in each Class; Best Music; Best Marching; Best General Effect; Best Drum Major; Best Percussion and Best Auxiliary awarded in each Class.  In addition, we will give the Overall Grand Champion Award to the highest scoring band regardless of class.

• Classifications:  Junior High/Middle School; High School Classes - Class A (56 or less players); Class AA (57-81 players); Class AAA (82 or more players)  All classes includes percussion. 
  

* Grand Awards Ceremony at the King Neptune's Park.

* 2 & 3 Night Hotel Packages or Parade Only.

* Add on Admission to Bush Gardens USA for Saturday Afternoon or Sunday
 or any other Virginia Beach area attraction.

* We offer our Busch Gardens Music SHOWCASE Festival on Friday late afternoon/evening, May 1, for Concert and Jazz Bands so you may add this parade to your Showcase Package. Enjoy your festival performance on Friday and then march the parade on Saturday morning prior to going to Bush Gardens for the remainder of the day.  If you choose this plan, we will present any parade awards that you may receive at our Music SHOWCASE Festivals Grand Awards Ceremony that will be held in Busch Gardens on Saturday Evening, May 2.  This will give you the option of not having to stay for the Parade Awards Ceremony and you can get to the park sooner.

Parade Only Cost: $19.00 per student participant or $500 minimum charge per band.
