Salzburg, the "Mozart City," is host each
year to this festival featuring singers from
all across the world. For the eleventh year,
choirs of all backgrounds and ages are
invited to apply for this outstanding
international festival.
The weekend starts with all groups being led
by "The Traditional Salzburg Brass Band"
from old town to Mirabell Gardens for
individual group A-Cappella concerts. Next,
participate in a Master Class at Mozarteum
Hall with Prof. Janos Czifra, music director
of the magnificent Salzburg Cathedral
consecrated in the year 774. Sunday, you
have the amazing opportunity to sing High
Mass, under the direction of Prof. Czifra,
accompanied by the Salzburg Cathedral
Orchestra.
Everyone joins at the Stieglkeller for a
rousing banquet and evening of comradery,
awards, informal & formal concerts. Guided
city-tours and daily excursions in the land
of The Sound of Music round-out your trip
for a cultural experience in the city where
music thrives.
