Awards
The awards and trophies
presented provide an incentive for the students
in their various performing groups to strive for
excellence while being judged by outstanding and
respected judges. As a reward for these efforts
and accomplishments, CHEER & DANCE/DRILL TEAM
America presents distinctive and impressive
trophies that are sure to provide many years of
pride and fond memories.
Cheerleading
1st through 5th Place
Trophies will be presented in each
classification.
Grand Championship trophies will be presented to
the highest scoring squad in each level of
competition regardless of class.
Grand Sweepstakes award will be presented to the
highest
scoring team of the day, regardless of
class, level, or category.
Dance/Drill Team
1st through 5th Place
Trophies will be presented in each category
based on classification.
"Best In Category" trophies will be presented to
the highest scoring team in each performance
category regardless of classification, (Jazz,
Military, Lyrical, Prop, Pom Pon, High Kick,
Novelty, Flag, Hip Hop and Open.)
Grand Championship trophies will be presented to
the highest scoring team in each level of
competition regardless of category.
Grand Sweepstakes awards will be presented to
the teams with the highest combined scores in
three events for the High School, Jr.
High/Middle School, and All-Star/Studios levels.
* At smaller competitions, one Sweepstakes Award
may be given to the highest team of the day
regardless of division or level.
Solos, Ensembles, Partners
1st through 5th Place
trophies will be presented in the Small
Ensemble, Large Ensemble, Partners, Peewee,
Elementary, Junior, and Senior Solo
Classifications.
Grand Championship trophies will be presented to
the highest scoring Ensemble, Partners, and
Solo.
Ratings
In addition to the trophies,
each performing team/ensemble will also receive
a distinctive medal and ribbon with division
ratings.
Division I Superior/Gold Medal
Division II Excellent/Silver Medal
Division III Good/Bronze Medal
